The PhD in Entrepreneurship Projects will intervene to make an overall presentation of the project, emphasizing the objectives set and what has been achieved, as well as the future impact that the simulator will generate.
During the development of the simulation tool, instructors and users have positively valued its potential for learning and training students in the future. This simulator teaches in a simple and affordable way to anyone about the operation of startups and newly created companies through access to different scenarios such as accelerators, European funds, crowdfunding in all its forms, business angels or venture capital, among others.
The instructors who have had the opportunity to handle this tool also evaluate this mechanism positively, given that it will allow the acquisition of skills and specific knowledge in terms of financing and, above all, closely related to reality. “We have tried to put a lot of emphasis on the generation of this real context to provide the user with all the functional tools currently used in entrepreneurship. This is intended to contribute to greater financial literacy among current and potential entrepreneurs, such as university students,” says Alexeeva-Alexeev.
During the Multiplier Event there will also be a demonstration to the attendees of how the simulator works and what is to be achieved through the practice offered by the different modules, inviting those present to try it out and provide feedback, which is necessary to improve the final product.
In addition, a brief debate will be held on financial education, specifically on this type of knowledge, which is generally reserved for more specific profiles, such as students of Business Administration and Management or Economics.
The project involves Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași (UAIC) from Romania, Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) from Poland, TVW GmbH from Germany, as well as the University of Valladolid (UVa) and the Center for Research and Industrial Technology of Cantabria (CITICAN) from Spain.
The project partners expect to hold a total of 5 multiplier events with the aim of sharing and disseminating the results of the simulator among stakeholders: organizations linked to higher education and vocational training institutions, especially entities supporting entrepreneurship, chambers of commerce, incubators and owners/managers of micro-SMEs and start-up entrepreneurs, as well as policy makers and public administration.
The event will be conducted in accordance with the common framework of multiplier events and dissemination guidelines.
